Small Business Network Meeting today Muswell Hill

So my second meeting in Muswell Hill was scheduled for today, I had mentioned it to Louise who does reflexology-chi and she had expressed an interest in coming along so I went and picked her up en-route, It’s always much nicer to go along to these events with someone, It can be somewhat daunting to go alone, though of course everyone is in the same boat, you can see it on their faces. This meeting takes place as I mentioned before in a wonderful café on the main high street in Muswell Hill, Sara was also there and Laraine from the Athena group, its great that in such a short time I have met and become friends with some lovely people. todays session was being filmed and will be up on youtube® at some point!! It was funny, Lynne who sat near us is part of the ‘House of Colour who help people with their style issues, she inquired, politely as to whether I had in fact used this service, to which I replied, ‘I think you can tell I have not’ I must confess you can see after they have done a ‘makeover’ of someone, there is a definite confidence involved.. maybe one day, having said that when I mentioned this to Louise she said I have a style all of my own I took this in a good way
It was another very productive meeting, lots of new faces which is always good to see, we stood and introduced ourselves, I managed to talk for a little more than ten seconds this time, maybe even made it to twenty! there wasn’t a speaker this time, instead we were popped into groups of 4 and discussed issues that we need to over come, my group consisted of a Feng Shui lady, a foreign language teacher who wants to throw cooking into the mix (great idea!) and a lady who deals with energies.. so an eclectic group… I have to say I think we all found this a most productive task!
On our way home Louise said she had really enjoyed it, and found it very positive and will come along again… so another successful day!
