So for me the magical day of Easter… The day when Christ rose again.. which occurred on the third day, this is a key element of our Christian faith. It is written in In the New Testament, that after the Romans crucified Jesus, he was buried in a tomb but he rose from the dead and appeared to many people over a span of forty days before his return to heaven. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on this day. Easter’s date corresponds roughly with Passover, the Jewish observance associated with the Exodus.
Stevie sent me this today…. I beleive it is a perfect close to my easter rambelings:
Whitman said all truths lay hidden in all things and nature opens this up to us Lucy. Just to be alive to be creative in the every day things we do the way we walk brush our teeth eat listen all is miraculous cars that run, planes ,sunsets plumbing. So much to be grateful for; Easter is a time to rejoice for Jew and Gentile Hindu whomever. The concept that one can be born again and as so one is still living this life is quite a concept. Love Stevie
Happy Easter! go easy on the eggs!
