Athena Monthly Meeting – Enfield

Some more synchronicity at work in my world today! Yesterday during a meeting I suggested some bespoke photography and thought of a local lady Yvonne White I had met at a networking event, so tweeted her first thing, and wouldn’t you know it, but she was attending our meeting as a guest today! so that was perfect! I decided after last months parking nightmare to save myself 4 quid and maybe a few pounds elsewhere and cycle into town (did you see what I did there 🙂 so got Poppy all sorted and zipped off into the glorious morning sunshine into Enfield.
The meeting was excellent as ever, there were 5 or 6 guests, it is always great to meet new people and learn about what they do, today we had a recruitment lady called Diane, an Osteopath called Fiona who sat next to me and Karen a business development coach to name a few. it was also Dani’s first month as chair of the event. she did a splendid job. Tracey Cain did a great talk on eating Frogs… well kind of… a book she has read called ‘Eat That Frog’ which is a euphemism for getting the worst job out of the way first thing in the morning. as ever Tracey gave us some brilliant quotes. I mentioned my new social media venture which was a good hit as have been asked for many one to one’s so really thrilled about that!
