Sacrifice by S.J. Bolton

I had no idea what this book would be about my Aunty gave it to me as she wasn’t too sure either. To be honest I almost gave it up at the start as it was rather too gory for my liking, but I persevered, and I must say i’m really glad I did, its a cracking romp as they say. It is set in the Shetlands, we meet Tora a consultant surgeon who has moved to the Shetlands and the bequest of her husband. Whilst out trying to bury her horse??!! in a field she makes a rather chilling discovery.. I won’t say too much as don’t want to spoil the plot, but the next few days through the eyes of Tora make for fast paced exciting reading, the book is filled with twists and turns that take your breath away. The imagination of S.J Bolton is staggering! its great fun and i couldn’t put it down.. highly recommend it, but not for the faint of heart!
