Garry watching Mel introduce the event

After a heck of a lot of darting about, Garry and I managed to get ourselves to the WeNetworking event which was held at Forty Hall. The room was packed, mostly by women it has to be said, but much to Garry’s relief there were a few chaps in attendance.

The evening was the launch of the new networking group for ladies, it is to be based in Winchmore Hill.  Garry and I set up our stand in a brilliant location right by the entrance to the main hall, so we had a great vantage point to meet all those in attendance. I was very pleased to see lots of my clients in the room 🙂

The ladies from Enterprise Enfield

The atmosphere in the room was brilliant, really buzzing! there were other people with stands there, across from us were the ladies from Enterprise Enfield .  We had a lot of interest in our social media business, lots of people keen to learn what its all about, and thought it a splendid idea.

The evening was filled with some great speeches, from various ladies of prominence within the community. The raffle had some brilliant prizes, Garry had put some sunglasses in as a prize and Liz Sorton was thrilled to win a gorgeous pair of Viviene Westwood Shades (see below)

All in all a splendid evening, there must have been about 150- 200 ladies there.  So well worth us hurtling around the county getting everything together.  Thanks to the organisers Mel Tadhunter and Laura Sorrell for inviting us and we wish you all the luck with your new venture!
