Dave’s new up-dated tuna hot dish suggestions:
In a bowl empty a can of either cream of asparagus, cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup.
In the empty soup can slowly add some hot water in order to rinse the rest of the soup from the inside of the can, then pour about half of the can of water and soup residue into the bowl with the previously emptied soup can contents.
Seasoning suggestions: add some celery salt, onion POWDER, garlic POWDER, a little dill weed, ginger powder, mustard powder, small amount of cumin and parsely flakes to the soup mixture.
Take a whisk and beat it all up.
Pour the mixture into a tin.
Sprinkle into the dish bits and pieces of tuna, along with chopped celery and onion.
Hand crush potato chips over the casserole dish.
Atop the chips sprinkle paprika and pepper.
Cover with foil and place in the oven for 50 minutes at 350.
Remove foil and allow to bake for another 15 minutes or so exposed.
Shut off stove and remove hot dish from oven, place on stove and allow 10 to 15 minutes to cool.
Best served with a baked potato, butter and sour cream complete with coa
rse or kosher salt and pepper plus a salad or vegetable.
After eating, get in your automobile and go to Sonic Drive-In for a strawberry fruit slush
