It’s been since 2008 that I’ve had a new book out, and did the New York/Los Angeles book tour thing. It’s always been a lot of fun, and the new one is a good excuse for just that kind of blast. It’s a collaboration with Theme Park designer Christopher Merritt, called Pacific Ocean Park: The Rise and Fall of Los Angeles’ Space Age Nautical Pleasure Pier (2014 Process Media, foreword by Brian Wilson).

I hope to see you at the event in town nearest you. Below the tour dates, I’ve posted some brief slide shows from a couple of websites, featuring photos from our book. Another interesting part is that the book features a downloadable audio element, some of which you’ll hear on the radio shows mentioned.
