Women in Business Network
Whilst on holiday I got a call from a lady called Ruth Rood, who runs the Women in Business networking groups in this area, she wondered if I would like to come along; which of course I did.
The day finally rolled around and I plugged the sat nav and Ipod in and headed off to Chingford. the last time I had been there was when Billy Hinsche and Jeffrey Foskett had played there many years ago!

The meeting took place in a lovely pub called The Kings Head (again) Ruth was there when i arrived, she gave me a lovely warm welcome and I was immediately put at ease. The next to arrive was Daphne O’Garro who had in fact been at the networking event last night as well… she said ‘you’re here’ I replied ‘I pop up all over the place’
It was a lovely relaxed meeting, there was an eclectic group of ladies there, including Fiona who is an Accountant, Elaine who is a Videographer, Suzan who is a Baker, Belinda who does Pilates to name but a few.
We were given two presentations the first by Lesley Reeves from SLR Investment Consultants and the second by the aforementioned Daphne from Complete Bookkeeping Services
I really enjoyed the meeting and want to thank Ruth very much for inviting me along! oh and the food was also delicious at the pub.
