Case studies
Real websites, real businesses, real results
A close look at how I work, told through the businesses I have built for: a royal-warrant gin brand, an historic Enfield pub, a public health school and a long-standing business client.
In short: Lucy’s Web Designs is a web design studio in Enfield, North London, run by Lucy Hall since 2010. I build bespoke WordPress websites and WooCommerce shops for small businesses, then hand them over with free 1-2-1 training so owners can run their own sites. I also provide hosting, care plans, SEO and AI training. More than 500 websites built, rated 5.0 stars on Google, with around 80% of work coming from referrals.

What every project has in common
However different the businesses, the method does not change. Each of these websites was shaped around the client’s own business and story, rather than handed over as a stock design with a logo dropped in. Each was built to be found on Google. And each was handed over with training, because I would rather teach you to run your own website than have you depend on me forever.
Tailored to your business
I start from a professional, well-tested foundation and tailor every part of it to your business, your customers and your story.
Built to be found
Proper page titles, descriptions and local SEO from day one, so customers can actually find you.
Handed over with training
Free 1-2-1 training with every build. Your logins, your website, your control.
Looked after afterwards
Hosting, care plans and a real person at the end of the phone when you need one.
Questions people ask about working with me
Who is Lucy’s Web Designs?
Lucy’s Web Designs is a web design studio based in Enfield, North London, run by Lucy Hall since 2010. I design bespoke WordPress websites and WooCommerce shops for small businesses, and provide hosting, SEO, website training and AI training.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Everything from sole traders and independent shops to pubs, clinics, charities and institutions such as King’s College London and Enfield Council. If you are a small business that wants a website you can genuinely run yourself, we will get along well.
How much does a website cost?
Most brochure websites land between £1,200 and £2,500, and small online shops start around £2,000. Every price includes free 1-2-1 training. See the pricing page for full details, and you will always get a fixed quote before any work starts.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes. Free 1-2-1 training comes with every build, and my clients update their own sites every day. If you would rather I handled updates, a care plan covers that too.
Do you only work in Enfield?
Enfield and North London are home, and I love working locally, but I have clients across the surrounding areas and beyond. If you are happy on a video call, distance is no barrier.
