One of the services I offer is to go to a business and over a period of time show them how to keep their website updated themselves. Sometimes I have inherited a HTML site which means that sadly the site is not easily updated by the client, but all is not lost as, on those occasions, I have simply rebuilt their site in a CMS system and then once that is done we start the training. If that solution seems a tad extreme the other option is to leave the main site as it is and on these occasions add a WordPress blog as a sub-domain so at least the client can get blogging.
So whatever your requirements, I will find a solution. The reason I put so much effort into this is because it’s so very important to keep your site updated and if you have to fork out hard cash to pay someone to do this, then it will, lets face it be less likely to happen.
Here’s what some of my clients have to say:
My new best friend! Taught me more about web design and social media in an hour than I’d learnt in three years.

Lucy has done a wonderful job with my website, she has moved it from its previous platform to WordPress and I am thrilled with it. Lucy kept all the stuff from the old site that I loved but has modernised, updated, and freshened-up my site; it is also now much more SEO/social media friendly which was really important to me.
Lucy responded quickly to any amendments that I made and was patient with me when I didn’t get stuff.
The final result is a web site that I am extremely happy with, done in a short space of time, and at great value for money.
Lucy is very easy to work with, and I would happily recommend her to my own clients, my friends and family.
Thank you so much Lucy for your patience and real professionalism. You carefully listened to what I wanted for my website and were very flexible when I changed my mind. What meant the most to me was the time you spent showing me how the site worked; it was very empowering. You did a brilliant job; I’ve been telling my friends about your work!
